In 1993 the Artists Circle initiated discussions with the WG Atelier Group in Amsterdam for an exchange exhibition. The exhibition from Amsterdam presented at the Triangle was called A Wider Horizon.

This exhibition has been organized as the other half of that exchange; it is planned that it will travel to Amsterdam, Holland and Ostrava, Czech Republic. The range, quality and diversity of the visual arts in Western Canada will be presented through the work of 19 artists. All are members of the Artists' Circle, who donated artwork to support the objectives of the Calgary Contemporary Arts Society in 1998 and helped establish the Triangle Gallery.
